EVERYTHING IS BIGGER IN TEXAS! Well . . . that may be . . . in many things but certainly not deer! Kansas whitetail deer are one of the most sought after game in the country . . . . especially by Texans!

South Fork Adventures is a group who The Lark Inn Guesthouses has partnered with to bring you supreme hunting experiences. Based right in the heart of the Flint Hills of Kansas . . . just 10 minutes southeast of Cottonwood Falls, South Fork Adventures knows hunting. For years they have owned farm and ranch land in The Flint Hills and hunted it with friends and family. The 2016/2017 hunting season was the first time these prime hunting lands have been made available to the public! With the genetics of Kansas Whitetail deer and land that has been scarcely hunted . . . that's the recipe for a hunting adventure you will never forget!

South Fork Adventures has two hunting plots . . . Tract 1 with 400 acres and 6 blinds/stands and Tract 2 with 300 acres and 8 blinds/stands. These stands have been located using data gathered from years and years of scouting, hunting and research. Portable blinds/stands can be located to your liking if you find a spot that looks good to you.

These properties each have ample draws, water and natural food for deer . . . in general an awesome habitat to ensure great hunting. Another unique element to hunting with South Fork Adventures is that we will only book one group at a time to hunt . . . you will never be hunting in competition with other hunting groups. All of this just adds up to increase your chances for that once in a lifetime trophy!

All standard hunts are semi-guided hunts. South Fork Adventures will set you up and show you the lay of the land, locations of deer stands, streams, feeders and in general make sure that you are comfortable with the property . . . know your way in and out and around and ensure you the best chance of a successful hunt. If desired, a guided hunt is available for an extra fee.

Lodging at The Lark Inn Cottage on Cottonwood Street or other Lark Inn Guesthouses is included in your South Fork Adventures Deer Hunt. These accommodations will sleep up to 6 guests and are outfitted with all linens (bed and bath) and fully equipped kitchens where you may prepare your own meals. Guesthouses also have satellite TV, WiFi and much much more.

Important Information for Booking your Hunt:

A minimum of 3 hunters is required to book a hunt.

A maximum number of 5 hunters may be on a hunt.*

50% Deposit is required at the time of booking.

All outstanding balances for hunts must be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to your hunt date or reservation will be forfeited.

Travel to and from hunting sites (4wd recommended)

Hunting License(s) or Kansas unit 14 whitetail deer tags.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of any hunts before July 1st will be fully refunded MINUS a 10% cancellation fee.

Cancellation of any hunts less than 30 days prior to your hunt date . . . 100% of deposit will be forfeited.

Full payment of hunt for all members of your hunt is final payment. No refunds will be issued for members who cannot make the date.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Limit: One Buck or Mature Doe per hunter Bucks must achieve a Pope & Young gross score of 125".

Hunter will be charged $250.00 for any bucks not achieving the Pope & Young score of 125"

No dressing, gutting or bleeding of game at guesthouses.

All hunters will be required to execute a Release of Liability before being allowed to hunt.
